From the road to the pool: A Day OF DIsCOVERY

Our second day in Costa Rica was full of new sights, flavors, and meaningful moments. We started the morning with a delicious typical Costa Rican breakfast, giving the students a real taste of local culture. After that, we hit the road for a beautiful 3.5-hour journey to Turrialba, surrounded by green mountains and stunning landscapes.

Upon arrival, we enjoyed a warm lunch together, followed by some relaxing pool time, where the group continued to bond and recharge. It’s clear that connections are forming quickly—the laughter, conversations, and teamwork already feel strong.

In the afternoon, we held a welcome orientation, where students received important information about Costa Rica, the program, and what to expect in the coming days. Their curiosity and engagement were amazing to see.

After dinner we gathered for a short evening meeting to talk about tomorrow’s plans and pass the daily guide to the Global Glimpse student leaders.

Everyone is excited and ready for what’s next. The energy is high, the group is united, and we can already feel that this journey will be unforgettable.
