Today the day started off nice, we woke up at 7:00 and had breakfast at 8:00. After we all had to pack up everything. Everyone was asked and reminded to check over everything, from looking in the cupboards to looking under sheets and under the bed. Afterwards we had an impactful seminar in which we all felt not only connected but very emotional as a group. We had many activities such as a Global Glimpse journey map, we all choose five main memories from the trip that we believed was impactful and picked a person who has made this trip worthwhile. Lastly we had a Stop, Start , and continue part of the seminar where we all anonymously chose a thing we would stop, something we would start and something we will continue, all deciding from our trip and experience. Afterwards we had lunch which was an amazing spaghetti with meat and some salad. We lastly all packed up to the bus and were on the road for a couple hours and got to Ojos del Rio, which is the hotel. Lastly to end our day after being situated we had dinner and had our last and final nightly meeting which was also emotional and sort of a goodbye to our leaders. Overall this trip has not only changed me but everyone else, personally from the very day of my acceptance to the day of our flight, I was very nervous and overwhelmed since I had never left the country. I have learned to accept change and not be stuck and live more in the moment.
P.S. I love you Hirving, and I miss you and tell mom as well.

Today was full of many different emotions since we were all getting ready to leave for the airport. Wake up call was at 7:00 AM and breakfast was at 8:00 AM surprisingly everyone woke up on time today I am guessing it was because we all wanted to spend as much time as we could with each other. After breakfast it was packing time from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM. When we came back we had our seminar from 9:30AM to 11:30 Am where we all sat down to give each other some big love and transfer our drafts to the post cards for the supporters. Then we had lunch which might I add was the best lunch we have had since we arrived to the hotel everyone loved it. After everyone licked their plates clean we had time and since everyone had packed the night before we had 30 minutes of free time where everyone decided they wanted to go outside and have one last good look of Las Tablas. This was such a bittersweet feeling knowing we will never get to experience this again especially with these people. Then Finally we got on the bus and took on the the 4 hour and 30 minute drive. We got to the hotel safe and sound ready for dinner, the nightly meeting, and looking forward to having an amazing last night with our friends. Overall, everyone can say they had an amazing time since we all can agree that something we are for sure going to take away from this trip is that it helped us realize that we can be independent. Global Glimpse does an amazing job at allowing everyone to have a day where they can lead this not only allows them to realize that they can be independent but it allows for others to step out of their comfort zone, interact with everyone, and become stronger. Thank you to everyone who allowed for this trip to happen I am grateful that I got to experience a new culture with different people from all around the world. Big love to everyone.
Sincerely, Hannah <3

Big shout-out to our GGL Michelle! We celebrated her birthday, even though it’s on Monday, but we wanted to have the chance to celebrate with her before going back.
