Final day together

Hey guys! It’s Jaeden and Aiden. The day started at 7:00am. Waking everyone up was not as bad as the days prior as we had our last breakfast together at Hotel Piamonte. Making sure everyone was done packing, we went into the breakout room to have our last seminar. The room started off with laughter then left off with tears. We started mapping out this Panama journey in our journals, then breaking off into groups to share what we put down on our maps. After sharing our maps with each other, we went onto our next activity of the seminar. It started with making a circle and then doing a activity called “touch someone who.” The activity had about 30 prompts, which would be a way that you might describe someone, not knowing who is tapping your shoulder. It also left curiosity if your shoulder would be the one that is tapped. The seminar ended leaving tears amongst everyone even us two. We didn’t expect everyone to show that much emotion except Maykeld and Ms. Cat.

After all that, we had our final activity “The Big Love Sheet.” In this activity we would write down our names and pass the paper to the right for everyone to write how they felt about each other; sharing out big love in the form of songs, poems, and words of affirmation. The seminar came to a close making sure everyone was finished packing, and had all of their belongings. After bringing the water jugs and luggage onto the bus, we decided to play a few group card games. Most would take naps because of our long drive ahead of us and the others were up listening to music. Stopping at the gas station to get food, snacks, and beverages, we saw a dog laying outside. It caught everyone’s attention but we could not pet him because of the risk of any diseases it might have. Getting back onto the bus for the rest of our ride, people would go to the front to continue listening to music and playing cards.

We arrived to Hotel Ojos Del Rio to check in. We had our dinner and nightly meeting when we arrived. We have to head to bed early beacuse we need to wake up to catch our flights. See you soon!
