Final big love

Hello everyone, to our friends and family. Today’s leaders of the day are Alejandra, Nano, and our surprise leader, Ziqing.

Today was our final day in Las Tablas, and the group reflected on the wonderful memories of this trip. We wrote each other nice notes as one last gift before we would say goodbye.

We packed our bags as we were sad to leave the villa, that has been our home for the past week. We thanked to everyone at our accommodation that has supported us throughout our trip.

We spent our last favorite time of the day together which is free time. We explored our last moments in Las Tablas our the neighborhood. We drove five hours back to Panama City, where we started the whole journey. We made multiple stops at Va y Ven which is the equivalent of a 7/11 back home. We bought multiple snacks to last us on the long drive and to fill our stomachs. We sang and jammed to music together on our ride. We were all so happy to be able to see our families soon, but sad to leave this new family we created. We’ve made it safely through our final day and we’re spending every last second together. We had dinner and then a nightly meeting to pass the torch to the be on this trip, Lenore and Jeremy. As we go through this last night before our flight, we thought back on all of these meaningful memories we’ve made together.

Te quiero mucho, and I’m so excited to see you all again! Especially Daniel y David! Te extraño! I had such a good time here, I made many wonderful new experiences with everyone here, and learn so much about how my actions can make a difference in the world. I’m safe and very happy to see you tomorrow, and I can’t wait to tell you everything! Te amo! <3
