Student Trip Blog
This morning we woke up after a very needed sleep to explore the city of Constanza. After a filling breakfast and some card games we journeyed to town to explore! During our city tour we saw city hall, a military base, and got a tour from the local fire department. We all learned a lot about Dominican history and ended the tour with ice cream. After a couple of seminars we had some free time in the pool and enjoyed some relaxation. For dinner, we enjoyed some tacos and finished the day with our nightly meeting. We have a lot more fun activities planned for tomorrow so make sure to follow along!
Tomorrow, our first leaders of the day with guide us through our itinerary. They will be in charge of making sure everyone is on time, participating in activities, and drinking enough water! All the students will get a chance to be leader of the day and we are so excited for them to take on this role!

Yes! Remember to stay hydrated! Learning about the culture is so important so you have a better appreciation of the places you visit! Please keep a journal of this time! These memories will be priceless in the future!

This sounds like such an incredible day! I love that you got a tour from the local fire department and learned some history—and balanced it all out with ice cream, of course!
