Day 9: Final CaP Day

Hey! Its Alana and Nicholas, your leaders of the day. Today was our third, and last, CAP day. Today was also the birthday of our great friend KJ. This morning, everyone signed the board with wishes and compliments to KJ and we sang happy birthday after. It rained for the majority of today so we were not able to paint the playground. But we were still able to organize and clean the classrooms. We played a really fun game where we all were tangled by holding hands and we tried to untangle ourselves. We even met another global glimpse group that were from LA. Our group had a lot of fun playing soccer, even if it was a bit distracting. We organized furniture inside the classrooms and played with puppies we saw around the area. After coming back we had our third phone calls home. Everyone called and introduced their families to each other, while watching the world cup (France vs England). After dinner we sang happy birthday to KJ, again, with a cake this time. Next was our usual nightly meeting, and after was karaoke. We finished packing because tomorrow we leave the basehouse to go back to the hotel in San Jose.
