Day 8: Cap Day 3

This morning we woke up bright and early for the last day of our CAP project. To start off the morning we played a memory game. Then we walked down to our project and we worked on filling the trenches and laying the water pipe on the trenches we had completed. After our long day of work we came home and had a nice dinner of spaghetti with beef, iced tea, and salad on the side. Tonight we decided wanted to do something different and we came up with the idea of a “game night” to close off the day.

CAP day 3 brought us closer together. It also made us appreciate team work in many ways, for example communication which allowed us to finish the job. Along with team work it taught us to appreciate that we take for granted at home since here some parts of the country don’t have running water.
