Day 7 FUN DAY AT THE PLAYa

This is Israel and Juan; we are the leaders of the day for FUN DAY! Today was the latest wake up call in a while (8:00AM). Everyone was full of vibrant energy and ready for a day at the beach. We left from Las Tablas to Pedasi with high hopes of seeing and entering the ocean.

After a 30 minute trip, we arrived at Rincon Del Faro, where the beach meets the Pacific Ocean. Upon arrival at the beach we were ready to hit the sand and have fun. The endless blue ocean connected to the sandy beach was a postcard scenic view. Not only that but, there was also an outdoor pool. However, before entering the beach or pool, there was an informative safety session by two lifeguards.

After the safety session, we carefully walked to the pool and speed walked to the sandy beach. The beautiful ocean scene was a load of memories waiting to form. Then the fun came. . . from ocean waves to volleyball to soccer and bonding time. Then we ate a five star lunch (rated by everyone), which was plantains, fries, and a choice of chicken, fish, or pasta. After leaving the beach, we passed by a town square for more Panamanian souvenirs. Coming back to the hotel, we had the choice to stay and rest, or go out to town. Those who went to town got to visit the supermercado and a local bakery. We came back for dinner and receive our LDDs for tomorrow.
