DAY 7: Cap Day 2!!!

Today we woke up to sunny skies in Turrialba at around 6:30AM. We got ready to start a new CAP project for today and continue our old one from Day 5. We decided to split into two groups to help us conquer the day! For Group 1 they headed to a local school named Santa Rosa Elementary School. While Group 2 continued painting the fences and walls at Asada, which is responsible for water in Turrialba. Prior to that Diego made us an amazing breakfast, we had French Toast, Eggs, and Fruits. We then headed off to our CAP sites where we worked hard until 12 PM. The second group then headed to the elementary school where we enjoyed a meal of Rice, Beans, and Salad. After we ate plans had changed and Group 1 decided to follow Group 2 to paint the walls at Asada and help them finish off the job. After a long days at work we decided to write meaningful letters to those who supported this program and made our dreams come true. For dinner at the accommodation, we enjoyed Nachos which consisted of Chips, Black Beans, Beef, Corn, and Pico de Gallo. Finally, we ended the night with our daily nightly meeting, leading to a new day with new leaders.
