DAY 7: CAP DAY 1

Today we finally made progress of building Elena a brand new home, we started the day with scoping out the scenery and preparing mentally, while laying out the tools and gear. In the middle of the demolition of Elena’s house we discovered a hornet’s nest which unfortunately made us end early, but gave us a chance to talk to one another about how badly her house condition was. We also got to see a mother cat with her two little baby kittens laying on a stair step outside, with the weather being too hot we decided to give the cats some water because if we drank water they would also drink water too. After the incident with the hornet nest we left back too the villa to eat some very yummy food made by Margarita aka our very amazing cook. After lunch we drove back to Elena’s house to finish what we had left, but surprisingly there was no work left to be done. So we decided to spend our extra time that we had at this very big store that we call “temu” which had a variety of items like clothes, snacks, and shoes. After our trip to “temu”we came back to the villa to enjoy some free time and at 5:30 we had a meeting in which we wrote post cards as a thank you towards the people who support Global Glimpse to show and to give them appreciation for giving us glimpsers the opportunity to travel the world and learn how to be leaders. Our day was filled with immense productivity and will be one that we will definitely not forget.

Signing off,
