7:00 AM: This morning, we woke up to music blasting through the hallways and had breakfast at 8:00 AM. This morning we had eggs, bread, and hot chocolate.
8:45 AM: We had our transport to the CAP project site and arrived at 9:00. We started filling up buckets and filling the floors up with cement.
10:00 AM: We worked and mixed cement and it started raining during the day.
11:00 AM: We began filling the second room with cement and formed an assembly line to place the soil.
12:00 AM: We finished two rooms today and returned back to La Salle. Today for lunch had yellow rice, beef, and salad.
1:30 PM: We headed back to the CAP project site and we started mixing cement for the third room.
3:30 PM: The third room was finished (this was 1 hour before the time we were supposed to leave which is a huge accomplishment and achievement due to our team work).
4:00 PM: We finished cleaning up the site and headed on the bus back to Jarabacoa.
4:45 PM: We went for a snack run before officially returning home to La Salle.
5:00 PM: We had free time until 6:00pm
6:00 PM: We drafted our appreciation letters to the sponsors and donors who helped make this trip possible.
6:30 PM: We had a make your own taco bar for dinner with rice and beans.
8:00 PM: We had free time from 7:00 until 8:00 then we started our nightly meeting and debriefed day 1 of CAP while also preparing for day 2 of the project.

Hello, fellow Glimpsers! We will be the last delegation for the summer. I am so impressed with all that you have accomplished in such a short amount of time. We will be leaving NYC on Monday 8/10-20. We have some big shoes to fill. I am loving reading your blog. Can’t wait until it’s our turn to share our memories.
BIG LOVE!
