Day 10 – Final Reflection

Hi everyone!
This is Genesis and Nathalia, your leaders of the day!
We are going to begin by telling you about our day. This morning we woke up at 6:00 am and woke everyone up to get ready for the day. For breakfast this morning we ate corn and flour empanadas, bananas and cereal.
For the first trip of today we went to Tortugas Pedasi and they have prepared a amazing presentation, talking about different types of sea turtles, explaining the threats they endure, and how they help preserve biodiversity. We then participated in a beach cleanup in Playa del Toro, we each filled one garbage bag with any plastics or trash that could harm any living thing. Although, there is only so much we can do, we are going one step in the right direction of preserving our beaches and we hope we can encourage others to do the same.
We would like to give a big love to Robert and Isabelle for leading us into this amazing way to help this community. We would also like to give our condolences to Halloween Crab (Glimpsers found a crab in the sand during the clean up) whom was one of the crabs we gave a beautiful burial to towards the end of our cleanup, we hope he lived a beautiful life.
Next trip, we went to Playita Resort where we all participated in an intense game of volleyball. As well had fun in the clear blue water. After our fun day, we then went back to our hotel, where we finished off our day with dinner!

Hi Everyone! Thank you Genesis and Nathalia for the amazing updates and blog post! You all look like you had a really fun day. Kamilah we miss you very much. We know how much you love the beach and animals so hopefully you enjoyed today. Great job with helping to keep the earth clean and safe for all! The Z boys miss you and have been taking care of Zen & YoYo for you. The cats miss you too and just sit in your room waiting for you LOL. Anyway we can’t wait to see the cool souvenirs you got!

WOOOOO GO NAT!!! You were leader for the best day! Beach day was my favorite day and I see you went to the same beaches I did. I hope that you had so much fun. I love the capri cargos you’re wearing by the way. I’m so happy to see you fully emerged in the experience and I know you are living it up to the fullest. I can’t believe you come back in just a few days, over here it went flying. I’m so excited to see you, updates needed. I love you Nat enjoy those last few days and make the most out of it. ❤️

I hope everybody’s good.I was wondering , did you all feel the aftershocks from the quake 7 point five quake that took place in columbia , they were reporting that shocks could be felt in ecuador and also panama. So there’s been no phone calls , so i’m guessing that everyone is safe and still having a time to remember.

Hi Malakai I know you had the most amazing time at the beach. In one of the pictures, the one with the drift wood, I’m reminded of the beach by the Palisadoes back home in Jamaica. We know how much you love volleyball, getting to do that by the beach must have been a treat!
