Day 6 Working all day body hurts feel me?

Hello Family this is me talking to you through a screen and I’m not supposed to be on it ;). Today my day started off terrible because I couldn’t find my apple watch this mooring to set my alarm so we had to use the ones the Teachers gave us so we had to wake up really early at 6:00 AM. Next me and my partner for the day set up the dining room so everyone can eat as one big happy family which to me is cornu not going to lie but aye at least it’s something right? Then we took a bus to the school here to help the community, working our butts off from 9:00 to 2:45 pm and it was hot everyone was sweaty and just wanted to go back to the hotel and not everyone was doing work with people just complaining and they didn’t do any work so there is no point for you to complain feel me? Finally, some of the students wrapped up their day with going shopping, eating pizza, or even getting you guys souvenirs so be excited for that because in four more days everyone is coming back home

Hello everyone Aidan here, today the day started off slow, the morning was very hot and insanely humid. My fan that I bought for three bucks died on me, very sad. To start off the day we got on a bus headed to the school that we just recently went to. We met a guy named Sebastion, a Panamanian guy that we recently met who knew both Spanish and English. We almost immediately went to work splitting off into two groups. My group scrubbed and cleaned out the nursery for trees. I was in charge of scrubbing off rust on their door, took me hours. Before eating me and some students from the school and some classmates played ultimate frisbee, a game similar to American football. After eating and getting water, my friends Martell and Charlie both climbed up a mango tree, most of the mangos were either spoiled, infested with ants, or eaten by worms. They both said they enjoyed the climb. After the break me Nickolai, Martell, and Charlie all went digging with some GGL’s. It was fun I learned how to use a pickaxe. The bus ride home was also tiring. A migraine + my tired legs + the loud music all made it feel like an hour. That was most of my day, we didn’t really do much except shop and eat. Cya

Hello Aidan!

Thank you so much for posting on this blog. It was so nice to know the details of your day in Panama. I hope that you are motivated and inspired by the culture and the people. You can learn so much just by being there. Take a moment to absorb it all. Before you know it, you’ll be back on a plane to Chicago!

Love you,
Mom
