Day 10 – Final Reflection

Heyy guys welcome back to our show, it’s your fav hosts Angelina, Ashley, and Amir, aka the Triple A.
So today our wake-up call was at 7:00am, and Ilda freshly prepared our breakfast and it included egg omelette with corn arepas.
After breakfast we did a quick health-check in and we made our way to Playa Venao. HOWEVER on the way over there we had a small hiccup (flat tire) resulting for our trip to get delayed but we took a very cute pic and low-key we made some fun out of it.
Next we went to the souvenir shop while the bus was getting a tire change, where we got our families gifts and now we are BROKE (lol).
After that we made it to our lunch spot at a surfing beach. We had pollo asado with rice and Panama- styled cole slaw with iced tea on the side. We got to stay a little bit at the surfing beach to watch waves and take amazing pics.
But that wasn’t the beach that we were supposed to stay at. Therefore, when we made our way back to the bus we saw cute iguanas. After a quick bus ride to Playa Resort, we made it to the official beach we could swim in! That’s where everyone changed, got ready, and listened to the life guard rules to make sure we were being safe since it was a new environment. We headed down to the beach and some got in the water, some played volleyball and some sun-bathed. It was so hot and everything was super chill. We were there for 2 1\2 hours and we had so much fun with the waves and Angi the queen, put Bad Bunny music on her speaker.
At 4pm, after everyone dried and got ready, we left back to the hotel. It took forever to find a parking spot due to the festival and heavy rain. We finally got to the hotel at 6:30 pm where dinner was prepared by our amazing chef Samy.
We had sancocho, which had chicken and yellow yames and it was soooo delicious. After eating and cleaning up we said thank you to Samy as he is the best at feeding us and taking care of us.
PASSING THE TORCH
In our nightly meeting we got to pass the torch to day 7 Leaders Del Día (LDDs) which are Addison, Amina and Xavia. However, before receiving there LDD pouches they blessed us with a great ballet class for their talent show part.

Hiiiii mommy, I love u and miss u sooo much, ur such an important part of my life as you know it and I really hope you were here to enjoy it. I cry everyday for you, I miss my home, my friends, my BED and everything. I also miss my siblings, Mohamad, Willa, Tonya and Iyana as u are always my ray of sunshine and will always and forever as no one can truly understand me like my family. I know mommy that you gave me 200$, but I spent it all but can’t wait to get more when I come home. But I wish you a happy B-day MOMMYYYY and I wish I could be there to celebrate with you and be with you including my brother. But I have to go and I really miss you guys and I can’t wait to come back.

Despite the hiccups and delays, I hope you can see the bright side and silver lining in things and stay positive. If you had to get a flat, at least you are with 20 wonderful new friends in a beautiful country, shopping, and heading to an amazing location.
Xavia, I’m so glad you shared your talent for dance, and by the time you read this your day as one of the leaders of the day will be coming to close. I hope everyone got a glimpse of your warm heart and your witty sense of humor. I hope you realize what an amazing person you are, and I hope you know how much we love and miss you. I hope you’re taking a lot of pictures and trying to capture all these memories. We’re so grateful you had this opportunity and we can’t wait to hear all about it when you get back.

I hope you had a relaxing R&R day. I know your feet were happy😊. What an amazing fun/ beach day! With the exception of the flat tire😞. Hopefully you were able to find some unique souvenirs to bring back home. It looks like everyone enjoyed being at the beach. When we visited your dad, You really enjoyed being in the pool. We had so much fun that day at the pool. So I know you had fun in the water. To top the day off it ended with fireworks. Days are going by so fast, you will be back home before you know it.
