Hey! Here are your Leaders of the Day Anyeli, Andrea, and Jocelyn!
Today we continued with our CAP project as we headed over to Chitre to plant more trees! Along with the help of many children and organizations, we successfully planted trees.
After a hard day of planting we headed over to Las Medalla Milagrosa where Orlando the owner gave us inspiring advice on our future.
Orlando then walked us through the process of how baked goods are made. Glimpsers got the opportunity to see the production process. After our personal tour, glimpsers purchased delicious bread there at the bakery that we devoured on the bus ride!
After visting Las Medalla Milagrosa Pro Eco Azuero supported a local business by having us dine in, in the town of Chitre. For lunch we had chicken, lentils, rice, and salad. The leaders of the day helped the owners hand out the amazing food.
Our wonderful glimpsers had an amazing time bonding together by going shopping and exploring the town of Las Tablas. When we came back our glimpsers all jumped in the pool to cool down from a long day of HELPING MOTHER NATURE!!
