Day 4 In town of TURrialba !

Woke up at 6:00 am to seize the day! We started with some delicious breakfast of; french toast, eggs and fresh fruits! Then we hiked up a mountain to catch a bus. Where we got off at Turrialbas town central! We took tons of photos near the Turrialba sign. After we tried food from some street vendors. We tried sweet shaved ice, sour mango shavings with tajin and crunchy candied coconut.

At the town center, we went to a local thrift store to get clothes for the glimpsers that need long pants during their CAP days. We then took a stroll around town to find most stores closed, due to a majority of Costa Rica being Catholic and attending mass on Sunday. We eventually got to arrive at the community church and got to admire its impact on the community of Turrialba. Lastly, we took a walk to a bakery where we had delicious pastries like cinnamon rolls, lemon loafs, and donuts. After that it was back to the casa (our home base). We took the bus and thankfully the driver was willing to give us a short cut which limited our walking time. We headed straight to lunch, which consisted of rice, beans and chicken/ pork, for those who wanted options. When we concluded our lunch it was our free time/ call home. A bunch of us cried as we called our loved ones silently appreciating the sound of their voices. After that bittersweet moment everyone came together by the pool, taking pictures, playing games, and actively supporting one another.
