Hello! From your leaders of the day, KyShauna and Josie.

Today we woke up and made our way to Cañada de las Palmas to meet with different host families and learn about their daily lives.

By doing so, the group split off into five and went their separate ways. Some going to help participate in daily chores and or sitting down to talk about life experiences.

After, we were able to sit down for lunch with our host families and continue bonding with the children by playing tag, basketball and inclusive games.

Both Josie and I got to practice our Spanish and further push through the language barrier. Fellow Glimpsers were able to do the same!
Sadly, we had to leave Cañada de Las Palmas but with many pictures we were able to capture key moments. We soon ended off our adventure by venturing to our CAP destination, which helped us further analyze our discovery for this trip!

At dinner, we bonded even further with our delegation by learning about each other’s fears. We sat with new people and got to form new friendships. Afterwards, we shifted into our meeting space to recap our day, do a few reflective activities, and name our leaders of the day for tomorrow! We finished off the night with a video that introduced our theme for tomorrow: Immigration Day.
Hi Ma! I miss and love you queen <3 – Shauna

Hi Jude, we miss you! I think Sam especially is missing the extra pets. I’m keeping a (ridiculous) list of songs of the day. Some real winners in there, thanks to Harvestime!
