Hello! This is Xander and Jayla, your leaders of the day, writing the day 4 blog! Today, we made our way back to La Salle on a super 2-hour, 45-minute-long bus drive. Before we left Sosua, which was the city we spent the night in, we stopped at a souvenir shop to purchase little trinkets and jewelry for you guys back at home!
Once back at La Salle, we had a quick but good lunch before visiting the non-profit Plan Yaque for a briefing on our Community Action Project (CAP). For our CAP we will be helping to restore a trail! This means building benches, fixing the trail, and making signs. We are all excited for the work ahead and are looking forward to six more days of fun!
Can’t wait to see some CAP pics and what you can do! DJ said nice jersey Sam Izzo! Xxoo

The bus rides sometimes feel like an activity in and of themselves! Looks like some quality team building is happening and love the CAP being tied to trails! Important things to conserve! Proud of you all!
