Hey Friends & Families,

Daniel and Albert here, today we visited a farm owned by a local named Hugo. At the farm, we were given the opportunity to learn how to make soap with goat milk and many of us got a sample to take home. Then we learned an indepth lesson on goats and their gene modifications. We then had the opportunity to feed and pet the goats. At the end of our time at the farm, Hugo told us his story of how he was able to build up his farm to over 100 animals after 15 years of preserverance and determination.

After our trip to the farm we had a safety seminar and a delicious meal of arroz con pernil y ensalada de feria. Then we walked to the Las Tablas’ square and visited museo of El Belisario Porras, afterwards we visited the local church dedicated to Santa Librada. We then wrapped up our walking trip by going to the local ice cream shop where we enjoyed a variety of different flavors.

Thereafter we headed back to the hotel and passed the torch to the new Leaders of the Day Brenden Metter & Jonas Torke who showed off their talents. Brenden showed off his incredible magic skills while Jonas showed everyone how to preform a fireman carry by carrying Brenden.

Glimpsers, Daniel T. & Albert S. your former LDDs.

The goats are adorable and it’s really cool you made goat milk soap. I’d love to hear if there are any unusual ice cream flavors that you can’t get or are uncommon in the U.S.
Mocha and Molly say hi to Penelope!
