Day 3: We’re the goats!

Tick, tick, tick BOOM!! Wake up call up for glimpsers was bright and early at 5:30 A.M which forced us (Abigail and Tiffany, today’s LDDs) to sleepily arise at 4:30 A.M 🙁 . We started our day off with Hugo, a farmer at La Finca El Espinal. Hugo had us gladly be a part of his daily routine which consisted of various activities such as feeding the goats, holding bunnies, planting trees, refreshing his compost, and eating some of his homemade goat milk ice-cream!

After our delightful trip with the goats we arrived back at the hotel where we chilled, ate lunch, and continued our day with learning about culture and safety in Panama.

Onto our second adventure of the day, Panama’s rain decided to strike us down and drench us with its love. I bet Hugo’s farm loved it! We marched our way through treacherous terrain but eventually made it to devour the amazing sweet treats at La Paulina’s Bakery’s :)!

Holding our bakery bags in one hand and flexibly changing our schedule due to the rain, we spent the rest of our afternoon with each other reflecting upon the question “What would a daily routine look like for members of this community? How does it compare to your own?” Through heart felt memories of the day we shared laughs and giggles ending the night with nothing but love. Have you ever held a goat before? Because we have! We hope to see those replies fly through in the comments GG families!! With lots of love Abby and Tiffany <3.
