For breakfast at 8AM today, we had eggs with a side of hams, pineapple, bananas, and cereal
At 9AM, we began to look into what we wanted to do for our upcoming Community Action Projects
At 10AM, we explored the backgrounds of the places we were going to visit later today
10:30AM: We traveled to Bohio’s Camp. We learned about traditional method for preparing coffee and chocolate, and got to try some too!
12PM: For lunch we were served white and yellow rice, chicken, pork, salad, and tostones. Afterwards, we went spent time at the pool where we played games together.
4PM: Instructors arrived to teach us a variety of traditional dances, like meringue, bachata, and salsa
5PM: We watched a documentary on the topic of Haitian immigrants in the Dominican Republic
6:30PM: For dinner we had hot dogs, fries, salad, and Coca-Cola
8PM: We had our nightly meeting where we passed the torch to our new leaders for tomorrow!
