Day 2-Turrialba

PURA VIDA!

That’s the phrase commonly used by the people of Costa Rica which means hello, hows it going, how are you doing and many different other meanings. We started our day waking up at 6:30am, had breakfast at 7:30am ready for the bus ride to our home base in Turrialba. After arriving to our home base we ate lunch that was made and prepared by Diego who is a local community member of Turrialba.

In the afternoon, we started our group meeting with group agreements that were shared by the students.

After our group meetings the students were given time to socialize and got to know each other.

After dinner the leaders of the day prepared to present the agenda and activities for the next day to the group.

Can’t wait to see what the travelers will accomplish tomorrow for our adventure!
