Hey everyone!! Day 2, it was raining like crazy when we woke up. Our chef Diego made us some great pancakes, eggs & cut us up some great fruit to start our day! We had our very first seminar; where we discussed the general rules and played a name game to familiarize ourselves with each other. It was very fun we ended playing ‘til dinner and, once again the greatest chef in the world cooked us dinner and made us lentil soup, rice, salad with a side of pineapple juice.
It rained soooooo much today so everyone was playing pool and we all participated in an enticing game of mafia! Shoutout to Isaiah for being the BEST storyteller, fighting against his stomach, he found a way to keep even the dead engaged. Paired with an intense game of Spoons, it could bring out all forms of joy, excitement, and community; keeping everyone entertained and engaged, shouting over the pouring rain outside.
After our really fun get to know each other games we then ate a really delicious dinner made by our amazing chef Diego: lentil soup and rice. After our dinner, the LDD’s for the day performed a great talent show and prepared everyone for the next amazing day to help the local Costa Rican families.
P.S. Tati and Sophia say hi Mrs. Liu, miss you!

To our world Traveler Isaiah,
I hope you’re having the most amazing time in Costa Rica! Enjoy every moment, embrace every adventure, and keep being the wonderful, kind, and amazing young man you are. You make me proud every single day, and I know you’re representing our family well wherever you go.
But to be honest…home just isn’t the same without you. We miss your presence more than you know. Even “Luxx” miss you! Counting down the days until you’re back!
Have fun, make incredible memories, try new things, and enjoy every second of this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Come home safely with lots of stories, plenty of pictures, and maybe a little Costa Rican souvenir (MY MAGNET) LOL Most of all, come home knowing how deeply you’re loved and how incredibly proud we are of you.
Love you so much and can’t wait to see you soon
Love always,
Keisha ❤️
