Hello Glimpser families!
Our delegation had such an interesting and informative Day 2. We started our day by waking up early in a very nice hotel in downtown Panama City. After breakfast, we packed up and headed straight for the Panama Canal, a true wonder of engineering. We got to watch a ship cruise through the different locks of the canal and then went to a 3D IMAX documentary about the canal, narrated by Morgan Freeman, who would have guessed?!
After our Panama Canal tour, we got on the bus for the long haul to Las Tablas, 4+ hours. We stopped for quick lunch, making it to Las Tablas by mid afternoon. The rest of our day was spent learning the rules and regulations of the trip, getting situated into our new hotel rooms, eating dinner, and choosing tomorrow’s LDD (Líder del Día). More on that tomorrow for sure.

Wow—seeing the Panama Canal in action sounds absolutely amazing!
More group photos would be so appreciated—I’m really missing my kid (10 days is not that long) . A huge thank-you to the team leaders for taking such great care of these young adults and helping them soak in all the wonders Panama has to offer.
I can’t wait to read tomorrow’s blog!
