Day 10 – Final Reflection

Hi everyone! Global Glimpse Leaders Danielle and Bryan here! As we wrap up day 2 of our amazing trip, we wanted to share a few updates about our day.
We started off the day super early today to make our way to visit the Panama Canal! Our Global Glimpsers were very excited to learn more about the history of the Panama Canal and to be able to see it in person. We ended off our tour by watching the short film “Panama Canal in 3D a Land Divided a World United,” narrated by Morgan Freeman.
After a 4 hour drive (with a stop for a delicious lunch in between), we finally made it to Chitré! Our home for the next 8 days. We got settled and rested a bit before our first seminars of the day. We learned about what it means to be a leader and how we will show our leadership in the next few days. Then it was time to sign up to become Líder del Día, as you can see we was super excited to sign up to show off our leadership skills.
Then it was time for dinner, thank you to Samy for our pasta dinner. We barely left any food on our plates it was so tasty. Now it’s time for our nightly meeting where we learned who our new leaders of the day are: Nahla and Lesley! They taught us a pretty cool dance, it was super fun and they had all of us doing a chicken dance, even Bryan lol. We look forward to seeing what tomorrow has in store for us! 🙂

I miss my cooking partner, my go getter that is always eagered to learn.
