DAY 10 : Reflection day!!!!

Good morningggg its breakfast — we had a timeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My fellow leader and I ended up waking up at the crack of dawn at 5:30am. Can you believe that from Destiny & Tricia??? We ended up having to wake up our housemates around the same time as always which was 7am. We had to wake up a couple of people twice but it made it all worth it in the end because we actually had a blast. When everyone was at the table we had a very very very nice surprise from our amazing cooks. Can you guess what the surprise was? Empanadas! inside they had cheese and some had chicken. We had to drink some lime juice which was crazy specific from our cooks and we also had lemongrass tea that Pedro had picked from a house earlier on.

Later on during the day we had a very emotional time, we had a closing trip reflection that was three hours long, and trust, tears were definitely shed, jokes were made, hugs were had and BIG love was shared among us. Fast Forward, we ended our closing trip reflection on a great note by us tapping one another’s shoulders based on how true the statement was and just went on to lunch.

For lunch we had rice with red beans, ground beef, arepitas de maiz, fruits and some salad and drinks, can never forget your bev ;). During that time we were doing our digital eval on our GGL’S & our trip overall. Then we all started getting ready for a surprise that was planned by our lovely GGL’S to go to an amazing waterfall. The girls and the boys had so much fun taking pictures, swimming and almost drowning and taking everyone with them 😭. Dani and Pedro were full of surprises today, they had us questioning what we were doing for dinner, since the cooks had left early and everyone had noticed it, we were all very confused on what was going on.

They surprised us with pizza (we’ve been asking since day 1 I swear), little side note happy birthday to Dani whenever this is uploaded <3. we came back home, had our nightly meeting, which was our final one of this trip. It was great to finish this off with people i consider ohana, thank you for all the blessings and yet all the love that was always given to everyone, you are all great people who deserve amazing things to happen to you guys. Tricia and Destiny out <3.
