As the crickets chirping faded, we entered our final day in Constanza. The atmosphere felt warm as we felt the presence of Constanza’s warm farewell. Our morning nutrition was fit for a prince containing boiled eggs, bread, hot chocolate, cereal and milk, and lime made by none other than Margarita. After we spent our final family bonding time reflecting on our trip through beautiful artistry drawn by non other than the C1D glimpsers, the time flew by so fast that lunch hit us like the world had no time to spare. While our breakfast was fit for a prince, the lunch was fit for a king. We tasted the warm flavors of the Dominican Republic for one final time, which are Rice, chicken, beans and tomato with dressing. After lunch we had 3 hours to pack and get ready to head over to were it all began, Santiago. In the middle of packing time we spent time dancing to the music playing in the speaker. We all felt sad to leave what was now considered home. We were picked up by Starling, the gua gua (the bus) driver, and he picked us up with the flow of Dembow music. We spent two hours relaxing and vibing in the gua gua. As we passed through the thick lush mountains, we stumbled upon a scene straight out of Silent Hill 2, the road was foggy, blocking sight of anything within 20 feet. Although, it felt like the start to a tragic accident, Starling, the expert driver that he is, got us through safe and sound. Once we arrived to Santiago, we headed over to New York Pizza for dinner. Our choices were pepperoni, veggie, chicken, and cheese. We all enjoyed our last dinner together. Once dinner was over we headed over to the hotel which we would be staying in until 2 am to catch our flight.
