Day 10- final thoughts

Today, we wrapped up our Global Glimpse journey by doing final reflections and having our last activities together as a group. Before final reflections, we gathered together around 4:45 am to watch our last sunrise at the base house. We took in the beautiful view & got to spend time having our last chats at the place we could now call home. Later on during the final reflections, we went over how we took in this trip and how it changed our perspective, making maps to highlight all the different points of our experiences. Afterwards, we took a bus to Cartago (not before saying goodbye to Cami, one of our PC’s). We then stopped by a souvenir shop as the last chance to buy memorable items. Then we made our way to our hotel to check-in and drop off our baggage and had our final dinner at Ikua, where they treated us with the utmost respect- it was the perfect way to close our trip! To end the night, we are back at our hotel and plan to be ready for our departure to the airport by 4 am. Tomorrow will be packed with bittersweet yet hopeful goodbyes as we land back home.
