Culture day in Constanza

Hey families, this is Yasleen and Ariana as the first LDD’s for the trip! We started the day off by meeting a local mask marker “Gato”. He was teaching and showing us how to make carnival masks that celebrated gods.

After, we made a trip to a local market where we all enjoyed picking up snacks and later sharing with each other while watching a Immigration Documentary. We also met Paul Rosado (Paul Pink), who is a local self taught dance instructor. He taught us how to dance Bachata and Merengue. We ended the day with playing games and hanging out with each other, passing the torch to the next LDDs! Till next time, adios!
