Hey glimpsers and families! My name is Iris Munoz and I will be one of your Global Glimpse Leaders (GGL’s) along with Kissmely R. for our upcoming trip to Turriabla, Costa Rica!
Im excited to meet you all, create life-long memories and experience a new country together! Just so you can get to know me better: I am a Program Manager at the Oyate Group, a non-profit organization in the South Bronx! I grew up and live in Jamaica, Queens. I am passionate about youth development and social justice art education, but aside from my work, I am also a multimedia artist. I paint, draw, work with clay, do film photography and own my jewelry business!
Along with my million hobbies, I love to travel and learn about new cultures. I have visited my home countries of Guatemala and Suriname, along with Belize, Panama and Portugal, but I am most excited to visit Costa Rica! Congratulations on taking this big step and making travel a priority!
