City Tour!!🎊🎊

Today was a great day! The students woke up early in the morning. We had breakfast: mangu de papas (mashed potatoes), with salami, cheese, and egg. In the Dominican Republic, we call it “los tres golpes” (the three hits). After that, we had some seminars and then walked around town. We visited some places and finally ate ice cream! 🩵🎊🎊 Then we went back home and had lunch: la bandera (rice, beans, and meat). In the afternoon, we planned to play basketball and volleyball, but it wasn’t possible because of the rain🌧️🌧️🌧️🌧️🌧️. However, we played amongst ourselves and had fun. Then we had more meetings, our dinner, and our night meeting where we elected the first leaders of the day for tomorrow. So stay tuned because starting tomorrow, the students will be sharing about their days with us on the blog.
