Chitre 1D Day 9 August 2nd, 2025

HEY GUYS!!! Its Sheidy, Logan and Elsee (the best and most leaders of the day). After our amazing performance last night and karoke night we woke up at 6:15 am to start our eventual day. After our health check, we got on the bus and went to a local bakery where we met Don Orlando and his wife. We had a delicious breakfast of bread, pork, chesse and a mix of fruits. Don Orlando gave us a lesson on how to start a local business and then we began making bread and had a tour of the bakery, after we said our goodbyes we headed on the bus and travled to the pottery factory. In the factory we recivied a lesson from Don Lucracio about pottery making in Panama and its history. At the factory we all painted on some pots. It was sooooooooo fun!!!!

Once we left the factory, we were sadly on our last bus trip with our favorite bus driver EFRAIN!!!! We headed to our hotel and had a delious lunch which was rice, chicken and salad made by our lovely chef’s Ashly and Janet. Then in the afternoon we went on a city tour where we walked to downtown Chitre. We even bumped into a group of Glimpsers from the Bay Area shout out to them!! We explored many stores and Logan, Jake, Adam, Joseph, and Xavier bought some cutarras some Panamanin sandals at the local market. We walked back to our hotel and had our last dinner with Janet and Ashly, they made us some yummy burgers and some yummy french fries.

After dinner, we had our seminar in which we did a summary of our trip and did an activity where we closed our eyes and tapped the shoulders of our peers who we appreciated. We then had our nightly meeting where we passed the torch to our next and final leader of the day!! Thank you for reading our blog
