Chitre 1D Day 4 July 28th, 2025

Fun Day. Today’s goal was to enjoy the beauties of Panama. We started our day off with some delicious cheese empanadas, fried dough, and scrambled eggs with cheese and vegtables. (Made by Ashley & Janeth). We then embarked on our journey to the beach. On the bus we enjoyed some amazing music and sung together our favorite songs. Once we arrived, we were greeted by the gorgeous Pacific coast on ‘Playa Uverita’. While we spent time on the beach we engaged in fun beach activities like; playing soccer, volleyball, enjoying the salty waters of the Pacific Ocean, learning to swim in the pool, and more! (Shoutout to Joseliz and Xavier for teaching those how to swim). The hospitallity of the beach staff was greatly appreciated, as they were very freindly and accommodating. (Shoutout to Martin, David, Alicia, Donald, and Ernesto). At the beach we ate delicious food. After a long beautiful day at the beach we headed back to our hotel. When we arrived we cleaned up and headed to the plaza. Here we dropped our laundry off and went on a little adventure to some shops including the outlets, a boba tea shop and super 99. After exploring a bit we made our way back for dinner and a seminar about our partnership with the Santa Ana Elementary school and reveiwing questions on what will we ask tomorrow to better our projects with them. We then ended OUR nightly meeting by passing the “Torch” to tomorrows leaders of the day.
