CH1C Has Landed! 🇵🇦✈️

¡Que Xopa!

The wait is over… after months of preparation, packing, airport hugs, and long flights, CH1C is officially in Panama!

Our first day was full of smiles, sleepy faces, nervous excitement, and that magical moment when strangers begin turning into a community. From the very first introductions, we could already see curiosity, kindness, and a whole lot of personality shining through this amazing group.

Of course, no Global Glimpse adventure starts without learning the basics: staying hydrated, getting to know each other, reviewing community agreements, and practicing what it means to be part of a team. One thing became very clear from day one: this group is ready to embrace every challenge with open minds. All of this was done over dinner, where the glimpsers enjoyed grilled chicken with white rice and a small salad.

Over the next days, we’ll explore new places, learn from incredible local leaders, work alongside community members, try delicious Panamanian food, and probably discover muscles we didn’t know existed.

We’ll also laugh a lot, get a little outside our comfort zones, and create memories that will last much longer than the tan lines.

To our families back home: your students are doing great! They’re taking care of one another, asking thoughtful questions, and beginning this journey with courage and excitement. Thank you for trusting us with this unforgettable experience.

This is just the beginning.
