Hello family and friends,
Today we continued our community action projects and ended up finishing a multitude of projects by collaborating and playing to our strengths. Today we learned the value of collaboration and helping our peers utilize the time we had effectively. Something that surprised us the most was that everyone worked efficiently enough that we not only finished our individual projects but ended up helping each other. Some inspiring people we met were school children that broke down language barriers to communicate with us and make bonds that will last a lifetime. These children showed us the joy of having the support of a community while working. Being the leader of the day felt natural in some places and we improved in others. For example, Kaylee and Mily grew by using their voices more to lead the group throughout the day. Shay grew by stepping back to create space and support for others to expand their gifts as well. We also started working on appreciation letters for our supporters. Keep posted for our next adventure tomorrow!
