Heyyyyy Yallll!! Welcome back, It’s your leaders for today, Jen, Jenny and Ashly! To start the day, we started the day at 7am. As always, thank our amazing cooks Ilka, Leonela, and Carolina for making sure that we were all filled for breakfast, lunch and dinner. After a wonderful breakfast, we headed back to Nutre Horgar to add our final touches to our CAP project and to help with maintance outside and within the buliding. During the maintiance in the playroom the kids would run up to us and sit down and watch Cocomelon. But we cleaned up the garden, and the parking lot, repainted the kitchen, fence, and outside walls, then lastly some general touches. It was an amazing productive day!

Everyone was fabulous with participation and brought wonderful effert to our project. After we finished, we showed Marruquel the finished product, and she was elated to see all the work we did. She was so overjoyed that she took multiple pictures with us (her new profile picture) and she gave us drinks and snacks like we were her own kids. As we got ready to leave Nutre Horgar, we realized that the kids really warmed up to us and they would be so sad to see us go. Our fellow Global Glimpsers hope that we were able to make an impact on them as they did us.
We headed back to the hotel for free time and most of us immersed into different groups and we spent this last day in Las Tablas, Panama visiting the local thrift store, the bakery, and the cafe. Later, we had dinner and the most heartfelt nightly meeting that day. Everybody wanted to give “Big Love” to the people who comforted them throughout the tough parts of this trip, their super awesome roommates, their friends, and we generally were so happy and so sad that our trip was coming to an end. We made a lot of funny jokes, teased each other over small things, and we felt closer than ever today.

Jen – Heyy just wanted to say that I love you mom <3 and I cant wait to see you superrr soon. This trip was truly life changing for me. I’ve been able to make amazing friendships and get to learn about issues that may be overlooked. I am so glad I had this experience, see you soonn!!
Jenny – hey y’all, I have so many words to say. First off, all these people on the trip are super duper sweet, I could literally say so many sweet things about each and every one of them. My roommates were the absolute best, I would not have changed anything for the world. I feel like I could yap all day with the people on this trip. But besides that, I love you mom, dad, Lyna (:P). I was so sick and tired this entire trip but it was definitely worth it. To my friends, y’all are getting massive FOMO (Jackie is rubbing off on me lmao)
Ashly- Hi, hope everyone’s enjoying the blog so far. This experience has been fabulaos so far but I think everyone agrees that we are soo ready to head back home now. I’m thankful for everything I’ve learned so far and hopeful to carry on the bonds + leasons that I have gained outside the trip. I want to thank Brekhna, Isis, Leslie and Becca for making this trip awsome. Miss ya’ll!

🥲 you should all be proud of yourselves! I know I am and all my coworkers are too, (sorry but I had to show the beautiful work you guys did). I would like you guys to give a message to Ilka, Leonela and Carolina ” Thank you ladies for cooking 3 meals a day during their entire trip. Even if our kids weren’t home with us We know they were well fed thanks to you.” And a message to Marrquel from nutre Horgar “Thank you so much for inspiring and for giving our kids a chance to help and make a difference. I know that they’ll never forget Panama.”❤️ Glad you guys all made new friendships and memories You’ll never forget. Can’t wait to hear what you all did on your last day!
