cap day 3

Hey Global Glimpse Family! Today Matthew and I (Christopher) were given the role as leaders for today. Today was pretty productive because it was the last day to work on the field!

For breakfast we had gallo pinto, plantians, french toast with some fruit on the side. It was fanstasitic. After breakfast we went to the soccer field. Today’s tasks were to re-paint the fences and the soccer goals posts. We painted the fences red and blue and the goals were painted red and white. Matthew had lighter people on his shoulders to paint the top of the soccer goal. Throughout the proccess everybody showed some sort of teamwork today which we were glad because it proves we can work on anything as a team. After we had finished, we headed back to the base house to eat lunch. Today for lunch we had Fish, Potato, Rice, and Salad. The fish was very scrumtious. Since today was a work day, people were tired after Cap day 3 so during freetime some people took a nap or laid on there bed to rest. Matthew built a pyramid out of cards. He almost got 8 floors but didn’t get past 7. When free time was over, we headed back over again to the soccer field to wrap up eveything. We contiuned to paint the soccer goal posts and we had some students broom the bathrooms next to the soccer field.

After we wrapped up everything we headed back to the base house, but before we did we stopped at the store to buy some snacks/drinks. When we arrived at the base house everyone swam in the pool. It was cold! Shortly after we had dinner. We ate nachos with beef and a salad. The dinner was very tasty.

That’s all for today. Thank you for tuning in on the Glimspers and we will see you again tomorrow. Pura Vida!
