Cap day 3

Hey, this is Brandon, Aeesha, and Izabela. Today we woke up at 7am and for breakfast we had pancakes, eggs, and fruits. After that we played a game called “Ship to Shore.” Then we left to our CAP project, where we painted walls by the local water tanks. After we did some painting we left to lunch and ate fried rice with beans and salad, then went back to our CAP project for the afternoon. We cleaned the fences, painted the walls, and washed the stairs. Overall it was a very productive final CAP day. After we finished CAP, we went to the pulperia, then stopped by a local’s house to get homemade ice cream. On the way back to the base house we saw the Asada in the distance, and felt like our work made the area more beautiful. At the house we had some free time where we called home before dinner; some of us were in the pool and others played card games. For dinner we had pasta with salad with soursop juice, which everyone seemed to enjoy very much. After dinner many of us played games, talked, and took in our last night at the hotel. We then did our nightly meeting, where we had a recap of the day, listened to people’s reflections on the quote/question of the day, and even did breakdancing for Hailey and Thanh’s talent.
