cap day 2. our efforts into progression

today was a pretty busy day! we woke up bright and early and even though we had a delayed breakfast we we were still able to get everything done and had fun while doing so. waking up everybody was quite a funny experience for the first time as leaders of the day ! upon heading to the cap site we decided to focus on filling the dirt we dug up with sand and then laying out concrete on top of it. meanwhile, everyone was having fun doing so and i (marisa) observed those who mixed concrete with sand and rocks. while working we all had lots of fun listening to music and taking a nice break under the shade of the sun. although i wasnt good at carrying and merely focused working on putting recycled bottles into garbage bags with my team, it was still nice seeing the group switch out while working. when we ate lunch and stood hydrated in the midst of our progress; we thanked the cooks for delivering the great food and for myself had a nice talk with xander and karen about random things that we liked. we also found the leveling of concrete (which alanna did) satisfying. the leveling tool ended up being really heavy when i tried doing it. when we went back to the hotel, me (ma), charlotte, xander, bri, and karen all went to the market and looked at nice bracelets and clothes. we also went to the mcdonalds nearby and waited for bubble tea with my group. afterwards, we went to the super99 and ended up getting a kinder egg ! (i love kinder eggs) dinner was also really funny since my table started talking about our neighborhoods and where we went to school, then our talents like how mines was singing. then we had our nightly meeting and everything was all good vibes when we passed down our torches.

to close off, here is the link to all the pics we took so far ! : https://photos.app.goo.gl/PtEKd2rfFqoDjrvXAp

Today was a really fun experience. Everyone had a chance to mix cement and everyone took turns mixing and contributing. We made a lot of progress and are nearly finished. Tomorrow we do the finishing touches and then we’ll be all set to presente our CAP project. I felt very supported by my teammates that were mixing cement and i thank them feaching me. After we finished with our project we all got ready and went out to walk around and we really enjoyed ourselves. We hope for another wonderful day tomorrow.

SHE GOT 24 POINTS BRO. we won 98-77 against the indiana fever (no caitlin clark didnt play). the starters were stewie, leonie, nyara, tasha, and sabrina. now the liberty marketing team is trying to make “stew york” a thig because she did so well in the game. lowkey im slowly becoming a fan i hate it. izzy made an insane block on aliyah boston and the edits are already rolling in. “Hi Alanna, we’re counting down the days until you’re home! The work you and your Glimpser are doing is truly amazing and a fantastic experience. It’s been wonderful watching how well you all collaborate. The K-Pop obsession is officially contagious – I’m here listening to songs from ‘K-pop Demon Hunter’ now! So far, the favorites are “Golden,” “What it sounds like”, and “Soda Pop.” LOL! We’re patiently waiting for you to get back so we can watch it together. Every single picture and story you’ve shared showcases your hard work and the incredible bonds you’re building, making everyone so happy to see you embracing this experience and making a difference alongside your fellow Glimpser. You’re all doing awesome work and should be incredibly proud of your accomplishments. Can’t wait to hear all your stories. We miss you! Love, Mom and Dad.”
