Today was much like CAP day one, we woke up at 6am and headed to breakfast for 7am. This morning we were blessed with delicious pancakes and fruitbowls with strawberry or kiwi yogurt. We made the trek back to the CAP site in the rain, with little to no complications. The project for today included filling in the hole from yesterday as well as digging a new section to fill with pipes. However during the project the clouds opened and poured down on us, leaving us cold and wet. But everyone powered through, and we completed the project with time to spare. After our return to base and much needed showers we gathered for a meeting about writing Letters of Appreciation and a midtrip survey. We then had more free-time to complete any missed showers before dinner, which was a hearty dish of pasta with white sauce and toast. After dinner we watched an informational video on the impact that tourism has on Costa Rica, and the strain it puts on nearby communities and environments. We then ended the night with our nightly meeting, where we passed the torch to the leaders of tomorrow, Andre and Dyani.

Greetings from Winnie and Mya! (p.s. love you JJ and Piper)

Great work pushing through the tough weather! So proud of you all! Mya- dad said you are more than qualified now to work for him lol. 😂 JJ said, “tell her I love her too and I miss her for once”. I might have to man up and play Dead by Daylight to keep him entertained😳. We are so proud of you. We love you!
