Hey yall its the queens, Christina and Morgan!
Community Action Project Day 2 was definitely one for the books. We went back to the CAP site and continued building the stairs, making two trips from the villa to the work site. It was a lot of hard work, and by the end of the day everyone was sweaty, tired, and feeling muscles we didn’t even know we had. Even though it wasn’t easy, we made so much progress, and seeing everything come together made all the hard work worth it. It really showed how much can get done when everyone works together.
Being Leaders of the Day was such a great experience. There were a few bumps along the way, but we stayed focused, worked through them, and made sure everything got done. After we finished at the CAP site, Morgan and Christina (the goats 👑) organized a game of Steal the Bacon, which gave everyone a chance to laugh, have fun, and bond after a long day. The winning team got first pick at dinner, and our amazing lunch ladies made a meal that everyone was excited for.
To end the day, Ms. Emmy surprised us with delicious ice cream, which was the perfect reward after all our hard work. I really enjoyed today because it reminded me that leadership isn’t always easy, but it’s rewarding when you stay positive and support the people around you. I learned that resilience, communication, and teamwork can make even the toughest tasks feel possible. Overall, I’d say we handled business because the stairs definitely didn’t build themselves.
P.S. We love you moms <3- Tina and Morgan
