CAP Day 1

For the first CAP day, the leaders of the day were Panshul, Jose, and Erick. We started off our day with breakfast which was a breakfast sandwich. After that, we did our mental warm-up before immediately heading over to the CAP site, where today’s task was digging a trench for the water pipes. After returning for lunch (we ate casados), and then returning for our second CAP session of the day, we took a quick visit to the store before returning absolutely exhausted, which was good since it speaks to the effort the Glimpers put into this first CAP day. It was very messy and laborious, but we were happy with the progress. After some down time and many showers, we took a quick survey, ate “pastel de pollo” for dinner, and held our nightly meeting where the three leaders of the day passed the torch after a talent show performance about Frozen.
