CAP Day 1

Day 5 started off with our first day of the CAP project. After breakfast we took the bus to Asada de Santa Rosa, where we began by sweeping and cleaning. We were able to drink the spring water, after which we started painting the fence surrounding the spring, which we did for roughly 2 hours and then took a break. We took the bus to the soccer field where we had lunch which was arroz con pollo, after which some of us went to the supermarket. After that we made our way back to the spring and continued to work. Once we got back to the villa at around 4:00 PM, we had free time for a few hours before having the spaghetti and chicken with Alfredo sauce that our amazing chef Diego cooked us. Overall, we had a day full of hard work that ended up paying off.

I see my sister Elizabeth! It’s been hard for the whole family to be without her, but we are so proud of seeing what she’s doing. I think she would like to know that Zoey finally got here and she’s so happy, Lola seems to be missing you, though. We love her so much, and we’re so proud of what she is doing! We cant wait to hear all the stories she has to tell us on behalf of me and my mom.
