Student Trip Blog
It was great to meet many of you virtually during our Zoom meeting. I’m adding this blog post to re-introduce myself as we get closer to our trip.
I teach at Mountain View High School and Foothill College. I have 3 cats and a 70 pound dog (German Shepherd Mix). I’ve travelled in many different countries around the world (30+) and have lived in Brazil and China for extended periods. My passions include: art, teaching, and social justice issues. I am an avid long-distance swimmer and a foster parent. My art has been shown in museums and galleries across the US and around the world and focuses on challenging the misrepresentations of ethnic identities in popular culture.
I’m excited for our trip to Constanza, Dominican Republic getting to know all of you better.
