Hello Global Glimpsers and Families!
My name is Savanna Gould (you can also call me Sav!) and I am one of your Global Glimpse Leaders! I am SOOOO excited for our trip and getting to meet and get to know you all, as we’re only about 2 weeks away from reaching Constanza!
I am about to finish my second (and final) year of teaching Child Development and Education, and new Assistant Cheer Coach, at William C. Overfelt High School in San Jose, and this is going to be my first trip with Global Glimpse. When I learned about Global Glimpse at the beginning of the school year, I knew I had to be apart of it as I get to support so many students through this life changing opportunity, and getting to see a new part of the world while doing that. Having this trip be the final experience I get to have before I move on from teaching is one of the greatest things I can ask for, and I love that I get to share it with all of you!
Outside of teaching and coaching, I love going to concerts, and I love K-Pop (my favorite group is Seventeen); I also really enjoy crocheting and making lego sets, and getting to spend time with the people in my life. Although I am coming to the end of my teaching, I know I can use the experiences from Global Glimpse in all of my future opportunities, and I hope that y’all will be able to do the same.
