Hello hello, Glimpsers!
This is Maykeld and Laura checking in for the last time…
Yesterday, our day started at 5:00 a.m. with a wake-up call from our amazing GGLs, Brian and Iris.
By 5:45 a.m., everyone was in the lobby, getting ready for our last bus ride to the airport.
On the way, we enjoyed a beautiful sunrise with music and laughter.
Around 6:30 a.m., we arrived at the airport. The Glimpsers got their phones back, and after checking in, we took our last group photo 😢 and, of course, had our final dance together 🕺 WONT YOU GIRL 🎶. It was awesome.
Then it was time to say goodbye. Between tears and hugs, we ended this amazing experience—this family we built in just 11 days. We know these bonds will last forever.

From day one, you came in with open minds, huge hearts, and enough energy to power a small city. And somehow, you kept that spark alive all the way through.
You reminded me that leadership can be bold and brave, but also silly, creative, and full of laughter.
Biggest shoutout to our incredible GG Leaders, Iris and Brian, for keeping us inspired and on track.

Hermanos,Thank you for making this last delegation the perfect ending to the summer.
Your energy, creativity, and talent stood out everywhere we went. I had so much fun with all of you.
Thank you for opening your hearts and always sharing your great ideas.
I finish this summer having learned a lot, and you definitely left a mark on my life.
I loved our dances, our songs on the bus, and our performances. But most of all, I admired your hard work, your dedication, and your excitement to learn and contribute.
You are the present and the future of this world. I feel proud and confident knowing there are people like you who can make a real change.
Never let anyone turn off your light. Be proud of yourself, stand up for your ideas, and never give up!
My little brothers and sisters, my students—
I wish you the best in life. Even if we take separate ways, keep the memories of these 11 days close to your heart and let them inspire you to keep going. Time can’t erase this connection, as long as you keep the memory alive.
To my beloved GGLs, thank you for being that support, that balance that made this delegation a success. Your great effort and passion are reflected in the strong connection you built with the students. I’m going to miss you so much.

BEST GG Group EVER! And yes, as a completely unbiased GGL, who has been on exactly 1 (one) trip, I still feel very confident in saying this.
Maykeld and Laura, you were incredible PCs, and I’m so thankful for all that you did to make this happen. Iris, you were such a great co-leader and it was a joy to work along side you. Special shout outs to Azalia, to Javier, to Andre, and to Emilio as well!
But the truth is that the real success of this trip was only made possible by such incredible glimpsers. All 22 of you played a huge role in making our time in Panama so memorable. Thanks for your courage, commitment, and most of all compassion. I’ll never forget this experience, and I know none of you will either. Continue being leaders in all you do, because the world needs each and every one of you!

I enjoyed all 11 days of this trip! It was filled with fun, laughter, memories and so much love. I learned so much about myself and others in such a short amount of time. I wouldn’t have passed up this priceless opportunity for anything, i will miss all you guys ❤️. -Amya
