Buenaasssss!!!

Hi, I’m Claudia! I’m from Brooklyn, NY and I am about to complete my Junior year at Williamsburg Preparatory High School. I enjoy traveling, walking around with no plan in mind, talking too much, playing with my cat, hanging out with my friends and boyfriend, listening to music, and watching Broadway musicals (My fav musical is Rent if anyone was wondering). I enjoy listening to Clairo and other Indie/Soft rock artists. I am of Caribbean descent and come from a family of immigrants: my mom’s side is Dominican and my dad’s side is Jamaican.

I am SUPER excited to be immersed into Dominican culture while in Constanza. Many assume that because I’m half Dominican that I am well versed on the traditions and the language, but it is the opposite for me as I wasn’t exposed to it as much as I wish. But I do really long to get in touch with my culture and the people that are apart of it.

I hope to meet and get to know many new people, and that they will become my new friends! I am sort of shy before you get to know me but once I’m comfortable with a person, I get super talkative.
