Bridging the canal!!!

We started our day bright and early and fueled our bodies with breakfast before heading out to the infamous Panama Canal. We were fortunate enough to be there to see the last ship of the morning pass through the canal. Then, we watched a movie and learned about the history and mechanics of this “glorious world wonder.” Our travels continued as we headed to Las Tablas. Our journey was filled with lush landscapes, bonding and naps on the bus. The students were excited once we arrived to our home for the next few days. Our PCs did a great job leading our first seminar where the students learned the role and responsibilities of LDD “Lider Del Dia.” Glimpsers were attentive, respectful and excited for the days to come. We ended the night with passing the torch to our first LDDs for tomorrow, Marelyn and Genesis. We look forward to sharing the new experiences they will encounter tomorrow. Stay tuned!
