Hey, everyone!
Your Program Coordinators speaking!
We’re Luzania and Ariel, talking to you from the Bridge of the Americas, the two-ocean paradise that is Panama, and we’re very excited to have you here!
It’s almost time to finally meet, and we’ll be surrounded by beautiful nature, amazing people, and a myriad of cultural influences, so let’s make the most of it!
We’re eager to get to know you, but at this point, you might be wondering about who we are, so let the introductions begin!

Hello everyone! My name is Luzania Hernandez, but you can call me Luz. I grew up in a small town in Guápiles, Limón, called Cariari. In a big family full of uncles, aunts, cousins, and siblings, we are all very close. This is my fourth year with Global Glimpse, and I am very excited to have you here in Panamá and to create many fun and unforgettable memories together.
I have been volunteering since 2008 in different projects across many parts of my country and Central America.
I really enjoy spending time with my family and my close group of friends. We love walking through small towns and traveling to rural places. I also love coffee, online games, and reading. I hope you all have a wonderful summer.
I can’t wait to meet you!
Hey, there! My name is Ariel Abarca, feel free to call me Ariel! I’m from Panama, born and raised in the capital city. This will be my first experience with Global Glimpse, and I’m thrilled about it! While I’ve had the opportunity to travel to other countries, I think it’s about time I do much needed internal tourism, and what better way to do that together with you all to discover the many wonders Panama has to offer! I love listening to music from different countries and languages. I have also been playing the guitar for almost 20 years now, so you might say I kind of like it, and I love video games as well. Looking forward to engaging in a mutual learning experience, where I’ll be more than happy to share my experience with you, and I will be learning from you, too!
