arianna Bautista Santiago

Hi all, my name is Arianna Bautista Santiago, and I attend Mountain View High School in the Bay Area. In school, I participate in a cultural club called MEChA – LSU, where I will be President this upcoming school year, where we plan on getting Hispanic students involved in not only school activities but outside of school activities as well. I plan on studying Architecture and interior design in order to make the world a more sustainable place. I enjoy listening to artists like Malcolm Todd, PinkPantheress, Lady Gaga, and Sade, hanging out with friends, playing video games like Roblox and Fortnite, and watching anime and Marvel movies!

I’m both excited and nervous for this trip as it would be my first time traveling to a different country with other students I barely know. Still, I hope this trip helps me bring me and my other groupmates closer while also completing our main goal of the trip by interacting with others and making a difference here in the Dominican Republic! I’m excited to see how different the culture in the Dominican Republic is from my culture and how we all can share a bit about ourselves throughout the trip!
